Banned from making films and confined to his apartment, a director spends a day describing the film he is not allowed to shoot — an act of defiance disguised as a home video.

There is no drama in the ordinary sense — just a man, a room, and a day — but the confinement transmits itself until you feel it in your own chest, a slow claustrophobia that never lifts. It withholds any resolution: no verdict, no release, only a day that disperses. And once you know the finished film was smuggled out of the country on a drive hidden inside a cake, the simple act of watching it becomes haunted by what it cost to make.
