A lonely cab driver prowls a rotting city at night, convinced he is the only clean thing left in it, and slides block by block toward the violence he mistakes for salvation.
It locks you inside a disintegrating mind through voiceover and never lets your body relax, until his paranoid frequency becomes yours. The horror is not the violence but the recognition that his logic holds from the inside, and that the film half-seduces you into sharing it. You leave carrying his loneliness and a complicity you cannot quite disown.
