Two women trapped in loveless marriages inside one Delhi household reach for each other — and desire itself becomes an act of quiet rebellion against everything they were raised to obey.
It builds through repression, holding the women's desire in silence and unbearable domestic routine until the pressure is physically present in the room with you. The household closes around you as it closes around them, and while the rooftop escape opens a genuine valve after all that compression, the unresolved cost keeps the release partial — affirmation and uncertainty held together in the same final breath.

Is this only a film about a forbidden romance?
The romance is the doorway, but the real subject is a whole system of duty and self-denial that the film gently, firmly refuses. The love story is how it makes that argument land.
