A quiet man refuses to pay the bribes everyone else pays — and watches his own integrity slowly destroy everyone he loves.

There is no single blow, only attrition — every move blocked, every ally compromised, until the strain of watching principle become ruin settles into you. The film offers no confrontation to release the tension and no catharsis at the end, because its whole point is that there is no valve when the enemy is a system with no face. What stays afterward is the solitude of conscience, and the uncomfortable question of what you would have done.
